TSA Role:
TSA were appointed by the BBC to undertake
various projects associated with critical
electrical services.
Project Outline:
The following projects have been undertaken:
Electrical
survey of Broadcasting House which included
detailed site surveys, production of
distribution board schedules (for some
400 distribution boards) and record
single line diagrams, and the development
of an Excel-based load monitoring system
to check/monitor loads on the UPS
Appointed as lead engineers in the investigation
of the failure of a UPS
Recommendations on providing cooling
to existing UPS room and specification
for replacement switchpanel
