TSA Role:
TSA were appointed by Circle 33 Housing
Trust to undertake independent audits
of Periodic Inspections being carried
out by a number of contractors on the
fixed electrical installations within
their housing stock.
Project Outline:
TSA worked together with Circle 33 and
various contractors to develop a common
testing standard including appointment
criteria for contractor engineers, certification
guidance, use of fault codes etc.
TSA assisted in auditing the tests undertaken
by the contractors both as a desktop exercise
and via sample site tests.
TSA have now been awarded the ongoing
contract by Circle 33 to manage the testing
and remedials budgets on behalf of Circle
33; manage the contractor appointment
for resultant remedials work and carry
out audits of completed work to check
quality and compliance.
Additionally TSA manage the electrical
remedial work associated with rewiring
some 400 properties on a London estate
